Auto Ancillary Show 2014 will be held from October 10 - 13 this year at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Complex, PCMC, Pune. The show is being organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), in association with Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) and Auto Cluster Development & Research Institute (ACDRI).
The exhibition complex is significant with it emerging as a hub for automotive manufacturing, especially for small vehicles and engines. The Indian auto component industry plays an integral part in the global automotive value chain and is expected to reach a turnover of $115 billion by 2020 from the existing $39.7 billion, at the same time component exports are expected to cross US$ 30 billion from the current $10 billion.
The show is being positioned as a platform for innovation and will promote higher fuel efficiencies and Bharat Stage IV / Euro norms. The theme of the exhibition will be 'light weighting' with focus on Composites. It will also stage an Asli- Naqli pavilion to promote the drive against counterfeits.
